Dancing to The Beat of Your Own Drum
Maywood Public School's 2nd grade class attended the performance of Garan Coons a Native American storyteller and dancer in December of 2023. The Students enjoyed learning about the Omaha, Winnebago, Lakota, and Navajo tribes. They learned about traditional dances, regalia, and language. It was a wonderful experience for all!
