Congratulations to the 2024 Maywood Graduate, Layton Sailor!

On September 20th, 2024, the Nebraska Department of Transportation in collaboration with the Pillen administration and industry leaders, hosted a signing ceremony to honor the inaugural recipients of the Goof Life, Great Journey Scholarship!

The event celebrated four outstanding Nebraskans pursing STEM and trade careers. These included:

• James O. Martinez from Lincold - IT Network Management
• Sierra L. Rader from Norfolk - Structural Drafting
• Layton M. Sailor for Maywood - Diesel Technology
• Burke R. Settles from Ceresco - Electrical Technician

This Scholarship program offers up to 100% paid tuition, internships with NDOT, and a path to full-time employment. What an awesome opportunity for all of these students! Congratulations Layton Sailor!
