PK–12 Principal — Maywood Public Schools

Due to a retirement within the administrative team, Maywood Public Schools is seeking a dedicated, student-centered PK–12th grade Principal to join our school family. Serving approximately 150 students, Maywood offers a supportive Board of Education and Administrative Team, as well as a cohesive staff committed to student success in a family atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will build strong relationships, support effective instruction, and lead by example. In a small school, everyone wears multiple hats. We seek a flexible, hands-on leader who recognizes the importance of every role and willingly steps in wherever needed. The candidate needs to be committed to serving students and supporting colleagues in a collaborative environment.
Qualifications: Nebraska Administrative Endorsement required.
Contract and Benefits: 210-day contract, salary based on experience, and full family health insurance.

Bus Driver
Maywood Public Schools is seeking to hire bus drivers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. We have an opening for a 14-and-under-passenger bus that does not require a CDL. We are also looking to hire CDL bus drivers. Route drivers may earn additional $6.00. day for CDL driving. The rates schedule begins at $75 per day to $105 per day. The district will cover the costs of physicals, driver training, licenses, and random drug testing. All drivers are required to complete level 1 transportation training. Substitute Teacher
Maywood Public Schools is seeking to hire substitute teachers for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. The daily rate is $160/ day and $100/ one-half day. Candidates must possess 48 college credit hours or higher, a local substitute certificate, or a teacher certificate. Maywood is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
