On Wednesday, January 17, 2024 a few Maywood students and Miss Foster went to Cambridge for an RPAC Art Competition!
These were the students Miss Foster took with her and the Awards they received:
Pryce Johnston: Pryce received the Medal for our school for her painting titled "Greg Octavius." Also receiving 2nd Honorable Mention for her mixed media painting titled "Billy Idol's White Wedding." Then for her hand painted deck of cards titled "54 Oddly Specific Things I Like" Pryce was awarded 3rd Honorable Mention!
Emma Peterka: Emma received 1st Honorable Mention for her painting titled "Sir Gwinten Henry III."
Miss Foster stated: "I am so proud of these girls and their accomplishments thus are. All of our artists here at Maywood amaze me and I hope to continue learning from them every day!"
Congratulation Pryce, Emma, and Miss Foster! What an amazing job well done!
