Highlights of 2023-2024 Football Season!
Here are some highlights of the 2023-2024 Maywood-Hayes Center Football Season!
On August 24th, 2023 the football team traveled to Sutherland for their first game. At half time the Wolves trailed the Sailors, 14-0. MHC kept working hard and pushing through and defeated the Sailors 26-22! Then on September 9th, 2023 the MHC Wolves hosted Silver Lake for a football game. At half time the Wolves trailed Silver Lake 22-7. In the end Silver Lake won. September 14th, 2023 MHC football team traveled to Medicine Valley to take on the Raiders. The Wolves fought hard and won 70-36. Homecoming football game September 22nd, 2023 MHC hosted Loomis in Maywood. MHC Wolves had a very tough game but did not give up at halftime the score was MHC 6-24 Loomis. In the end MHC lost to Loomis 44-6. May-Hay Wolves football team traveled to Bertrand on October 6th, 2023 to take on the Vikings! Another hard game for our MHC boys loosing to Bertrand 34-0. It was defiantly a difficult football season for our MHC Wolves, but we shall learn from our mistakes and keep pushing forwards and work harder for a better season next year!
