First Games of the Season!
Maywood Hayes Center Lady Wolves are having a great start to their season! On August 29th, 2024 the Lady Wolves swept the competition in their first matches of the season. The Varsity team played Sandhills Valley and won in two sets 25-14, and again 25-14. They went on to play Paxton and won in two sets again 25-22 then 25-15. JV played Sandhills Valley and claimed victory in two sets 25-18, and 25-20. The C Team also played Sandhills Valley and won 25-23! What a way to open the season! On September 5th, 2024 Maywood Hayes Center Laydy Wolves played in a triangular at Maywood against Rawlins County and Southwest. The Layd Wolves played Rawlins County First and won in two sets 25-17, and 25-19. When they played Southwest in the next game the girls ended up losing in two sets 25-16, and 25-9. September 6th was their next game. The Lady Wolves traveled to Mullen and fought hard. The girls ended up losing in three close sets 28-26, 25-20, and 25-19. Way to go lady wolves way to not give up! They next game day was on September 10th, 2024 at Arapahoe. On this day they had another triangular against Arapahoe, and Loomis. The lady wolves faced Arapahoe first and won in three sets 25-23, 23-25, 25-20! They played Loomis right after and also defeated Loomis in three sets 22-25, 25-23, and 25-19! September 14, 2024 Maywood Hayes Center lady wolves played in the Hitchcock County tournament. They defeated the Broncoes 25-19, 19-25, and 25-23 and where the Tourney Champions! We can't wait to see what happens the rest of the season! Go Wolves!
