Starting off the season on the right foot!
Maywood Hayes Center Wolves had their first game on December 6th. They played against the Wallace Wildcats and defeated them (70-48). The next day the Wolves played against the Southwest Roughriders and won (62-29). Their next game was on December 10th against Medicine Valley. The Wolves ended up losing (43-52). To continue their season the Wolves had a game against Arapahoe on December 13th. Our boys defeated Arapahoe (45-29) and played at McCook Community College vs. Hitchcock County the next day. They boys played hard and ended up losing (40-32). On December 17th the Wolves played against the Sutherland Sailors defeating them (62-20). Maywood Hayes Center traveled to Brady on December 19th winning this game (79-40). The Paxton Holiday Round Robin was held on December 28th, and 30th. MHC Wolves defeated Paxton and went on to play Garden County on December 30th. Theses boys played hard and defeated Garden County in overtime (49-46), and won the Paxton Holiday tournament. Way to go Wolves on all of your hard work so far! Keep up the good work we can't wait to see what this year brings.
