The Start of The Season!
The Maywood Hayes Center Lady Wolves have worked hard in practice and have come bolting out the gate winning their first game on December 6th against Wallace (58-16). The MHC Lady Wolves would suit up the next day to play against the Roughriders at Southwest. The ladies played their hearts out and won (57-48). On December 10th, 13th, and 14th the Lady Wolves played in the Cattle Trail Tournament in McCook. They played against Medicine Valley first and won (70-16). The next day our ladies played against Decatur Community in the tournament losing (35-25). On December 14th the last day of the tournament MHC Ladies battled Hitchcock County losing (40-32). Their next game was on December 17th in Maywood against Sutherland. These ladies kept on pushing and won (67-6). December 19th, they continued their season against the Brady Eagles, they won this game (62-17). They Lady Wolves played in the Paxton Holiday Round Robin on December 28th and 30th. They played against Paxton winning (56-31). The next day they played against Garden County. These ladies fought hard and won the Paxton Holiday Tournament, defeating Garden County (65-24). Congratulation ladies on all of your hard work so far, keep it up!
