Pushing forward!
Maywood Hayes Center Wolves girls basketball team has continued their season on Friday, January 3rd at Hayes Center vs. the Cambridge Trojans. These ladies played hard and did not quit they won (59-14). Then on Tuesday, January 7th the Lady Wolves played Hi-Line in Maywood and wound up having both the JV and Varsity defeat Hi-Line. The JV won (21-12) and the Varsity won (73-17). With the wind to their backs our Lady Wolves traveled to Paxton on Friday, January 10th and defeated the Tigers (67-41). The next day Saturday, January 11th these ladies went to Kearney High for the Nebraska Girls Showcase. They played a hard game against the Shelton Bulldogs and lost (58-42). Then on Tuesday, January 14th MHC went over to Maxwell and played their very well. Both the JV and Varsity won their games! The JV won (37-21) and the Varsity won (72-32). To continue this streak Maywood Hayes Center Wolves played the Sandhills Knights on Friday, January 17th in Maywood. Both of the JV and Varsity played hard and won ((JV 16-9) & (Varsity 50-25)). Their next game will be on Tuesday, January 21st in Bertrand. Keep up the great work ladies!
